New booking system at the Household Waste Recycling Centres

From Wednesday 14 January 2026 everyone will need to book a time slot to visit one of our HWRCs. People can book 30 minutes before their visit (subject to availability) or up to two weeks in advance.
To help Oxfordshire recycle even more we are also asking people to sort their recyclable items from their waste either before they arrive which will speed up their visit, or they can use the sorting area on site.
We would really appreciate it if you could help spread the word about our new booking system so that people who visit our HWRCs will be aware of this change.
We have attached the toolkit and provided a link to download any resources that you may like to use from the HWRC booking system folder on our communications portal.
