Shed Break ins In West Oxfordshire

Dear residents of West Oxfordshire, We have recently received reports that a number of sheds have been broken into across the West Oxon area.

We are asking residents within West Oxfordshire to check their gardens and sheds are secure so that they have not fallen victim to this as also. Below you can find some crime prevention advice for sheds or outbuildings:

•Secure the access to your shed or garden by locking the gate

•Visibly marking the contents of your shed

•Making a note of serial number and photograph any valuables

•Use external security lights •Lock the shed doors and windows

•Use a strong padlocks and strengthen door hinges

•Chain mowers, bikes and ladders

•Alarm your shed

•Check household policy cover your garden and out buildings

If you see anything dodgy or out of place, please don't hesitate to give us a call on 101, or 999 if it's an emergency.
